Manage your Need Theo subscription, view invoices, and update payment methods.
Accessing Billing
- Go to Settings in the left menu
- Click Billing
Your Subscription
Current Plan
See which plan you're on:
- Plan name (Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise)
- Features included
- Usage limits
- Billing period (monthly or annual)
Renewal Date
Your next billing date and amount due.
Usage
See how much you've used:
- Phone minutes
- Number of phone lines
- Number of contacts
- Other plan-specific limits
Changing Your Plan
Upgrading
Need more features or higher limits?
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade or Change Plan
- Select a new plan
- Confirm the change
What happens:
- New features are available immediately
- You're charged the difference for the rest of your billing period
- Future bills reflect the new plan price
Downgrading
Switching to a smaller plan?
- Go to Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select a lower plan
- Confirm
What happens:
- Change takes effect at your next billing date
- You keep current features until then
- Make sure you're under the new plan's limits before it starts
Cancelling
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm
What happens:
- Access continues until your billing period ends
- Phone numbers will be released
- Data may be deleted after a retention period
- You can resubscribe anytime
Payment Methods
Viewing Your Payment Method
See your current card on file in the Billing section.
Updating Payment Method
If your card changed or expired:
- Go to Billing
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter new card details
- Save
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You'll receive an email notification
- We'll retry the charge
- Update your payment method to avoid interruption
- After multiple failures, your account may be paused

Viewing Invoices
See all your past invoices:
- Date
- Amount
- Status (Paid, Open, Failed)
- Download option
Invoice Details
Each invoice shows:
- Line items (subscription, phone lines, overages)
- Total amount
- Payment status
Downloading Invoices
Click Download next to any invoice to get a PDF for your records.
Understanding Your Bill
Subscription Fee
Your base plan cost, billed monthly or annually.
Phone Line Fees
If you have paid phone numbers beyond what's included in your plan.
Usage Overages
If you exceed your plan limits (minutes, etc.), overage charges may apply.
Credits
Any credits or promotional discounts applied.

Common Questions
When am I charged?
You're charged on your subscription anniversary date each month (or year for annual plans).
Can I pause my subscription?
Currently, you can cancel and resubscribe later. Contact support for special circumstances.
What happens if I go over my limits?
Depending on the limit:
- Some features may be restricted
- Overage charges may apply
- You'll be notified to upgrade
Do you offer refunds?
We generally don't refund partial months, but contact support if you have concerns.
Is there a free trial?
Check our current promotions. Some plans may include trial periods.
Can I get a discount for annual billing?
Yes! Annual plans typically include a discount compared to monthly billing.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) through Stripe.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Tax Information
Sales Tax
Depending on your location, sales tax may apply. This is shown on your invoice.
Business Invoices
If you need specific tax or business information on invoices, contact support.
