Instructions for setting up call forwarding with US carriers.

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Pick up your phone
  2. Dial: *71 followed by your Need Theo number
  3. Example: *71 555-123-4567
  4. Wait for confirmation tone
  5. Hang up

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *72 followed by your Need Theo number

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: *73
  2. Wait for confirmation tone
AT&T

Forward when busy or no answer:

  1. Pick up your phone
  2. Dial: *004* followed by your Need Theo number, then #
  3. Example: *004*5551234567#
  4. Wait for confirmation
  5. Hang up

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *21* followed by your Need Theo number, then #
  2. Example: *21*5551234567#

To turn OFF all forwarding:

  1. Dial: ##004#
T-Mobile

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Pick up your phone
  2. Dial: **61* followed by your Need Theo number, then #
  3. Example: **61*5551234567#
  4. Wait for confirmation
  5. Hang up

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: **21* followed by your Need Theo number, then #

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: ##61# (for no-answer forwarding)
  2. Or dial: ##21# (for all-call forwarding)

Regional Carriers​

US Cellular

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Dial: *71 followed by your Need Theo number
  2. Example: *715551234567
  3. Press Call/Send and wait for confirmation tone

Forward when busy:

  1. Dial: *90 followed by your Need Theo number

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *72 followed by your Need Theo number

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: *720 (or *73)

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Dial: *71 followed by your Need Theo number
  2. Your phone will ring first, then forward if unanswered

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *72 followed by your Need Theo number
  2. Your phone won't ring—calls go straight to forwarded number

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: *73

Low-Cost Carriers​

Mint Mobile (T-Mobile network)

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Dial: *61* followed by your Need Theo number, then #
  2. Example: *61*5551234567#

Forward when busy:

  1. Dial: *67* followed by your Need Theo number, then #

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: ##21# (for all-call forwarding)
  2. Or dial: ##002# (turn off all forwarding types)
Google Fi

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *21* followed by your Need Theo number, then #
  2. Example: *21*5551234567#

Forward when unreachable:

  1. Dial: *62* followed by your Need Theo number, then #

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: ##21#
  2. Or manage via the Google Fi app under Account → Phone settings → Call forwarding
Boost Mobile

Forward when you don't answer:

  1. Dial: *73 followed by your Need Theo number
  2. Press Talk and wait for two confirmation tones

Forward when busy:

  1. Dial: *74 followed by your Need Theo number

Forward when busy OR no answer:

  1. Dial: *28 followed by your Need Theo number

Forward all calls:

  1. Dial: *72 followed by your Need Theo number

To turn OFF call forwarding:

  1. Dial: *720 (all forwarding)
  2. Or dial: *730 (no-answer only)
  3. Or dial: *740 (busy only)

Common Issues​

"I dialed the code but nothing happened"
  • Make sure you hear a dial tone before dialing
  • Try waiting a few seconds after dialing
  • Some carriers require you to press "Call" or "Send"
"Need Theo isn't answering"
  • Test the forwarding by calling from another phone
  • Make sure you entered the full number including area code
  • Check that your Need Theo phone number is active in the dashboard
"I want to stop forwarding but it won't turn off"
  • Try the turn-off code multiple times
  • Contact your phone carrier's support
  • Some business systems require a manager or admin to change settings
"Can I forward only certain times?"

Yes! Some carriers support scheduled forwarding. Contact your carrier for details. Alternatively, you can manually turn forwarding on and off each day.
